Awana - A ministry to boys and girls incorporating Bible lessons and games.  Help is needed for teachers, assistant teachers, game coordinators, plus other roles as needed.  Wednesdays from 6:45 PM to 8:15 PM.  Click Here for our Awana page.

Building & Grounds - Ensure the building and grounds are safe, clean and in proper working order.  Responsible for assisting as needed for repairs and maintenance.  This department is under the direction of a Building and Grounds chairman.  This committee works closely with the First Impressions Committee to ensure all alterations to the building and grounds are appropriate.

Children's Ministry - This includes nursery, children's and junior church. This ministry provides service at the kids level such as Bible Lessons, Crafts, Singing, etc. to keep their attention and make learning the word of God more enjoyable.

Church Office - Help may be needed for filing, typing, copying, addressing large mail-outs and on occasion someone may be needed to help answer phones. 

First Impression Ministry - This ministry welcomes, assists, directs and informs our first time guests to locations and services offered.  This ministry is responsible for the decor throughout the church and offices.  It also includes the outside appearance of the property from the street entrance to the area surrounding the entrances to the building.  This ministry works closely with the building/grounds director to ensure all alterations to the building and grounds are appropriate.  Seasonal decorating is also coordinated through this ministry.  Appropriate items and decorations are selected by this ministry.  The church directory will be coordinated through this ministry.

Men's Ministry - Special Events, meetings and studies to strengthen and encourage men in their spiritual walk and as spiritual leaders in their homes, on the job, and their community.

Mission Team - A mission team member is responsible for written correspondence between the Church and all supported missionaries.  We maintain a missionary notebook.  During Mission Conferences, we make all arrangements in order that our visiting missionaries feel welcome and at home with us at Rising Fawn Baptist Church.

Music Ministry - Adult Ministry - Our purpose is to lead the body of Christ in praise and worship to honor God, life up the name of Jesus, and prepare every heart to be open to the Holy Spirit.  Our adult choir includes a Music Director, Special Music Director, Treasurer, Secretary, Section Leaders, Instrumental Positions, soloists, small ensembles and others as needed.  All are welcomed and encouraged to join our choir, however consistent attendance is necessary. Practice is every Sunday afternoon at 5:00 PM and Wednesday following the evening service.  Practice tapes and CD's are made available.

Music Ministry - Children's Ministry - Our children are a very special part of Rising Fawn Baptist Church.   The children sing during the church service on occasion and perform drama's for different holidays.  We welcome anyone interested in being part of our Children's Music Ministry.

Pastoral Care Ministry - Compassionate people who provide encouragement and support for patients in area hospitals immediately after the church has been notified of someone's hospitalization.  Care is provided to our members who are homebound through regular visits with them in their homes.  Provide spiritual encouragement and the Love of God The Father to residents of area nursing homes and extended care facilities through visitation and worship services.  Many volunteers are needed to visit with patients and families.

Special Events - A variety of special event ministries to be organized and promoted.  Help in promotions, decorating and serve and /or prepare food for the events.

The Joy Club - This group has planned trips and other organized curricular activities to empower and encourage the Senior Adults.

Usher Ministry - This ministry greets and welcomes our guest to make them as comfortable as possible while they are here.  These gentlemen are responsible for collecting the offering and placing it in the safe.  Make sure pew racks are well supplied and orderly.  Help with guest seating when necessary and help with parking during special events.

Women's Ministry - To teach women to know the Lord our God through his word.  To bring women in fellowship so they might grow in grace and knowledge of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Youth Ministry - It is our desire to encourage our youth to discover a personal relationship with CHRIST and give them strength to go out into the world and continue their Christian faith.  The youth have various outreach and special planned events throughout the year to give them wisdom and knowledge through the word of GOD.
